Introduction

Frog Toxicology Laboratory, LLC is a small business located in Bonita Springs, Florida. We are located in the the heaviest spray zone of Naled in the world. If there was a problem, yes it would be here!

We are a Science based, public health-oriented federally-certified environmental health laboratory created to provide to the public the much-needed diagnostic tests for exposure to Naled, Temephos Mosquito Control insecticides regularly applied by aircraft to the Florida suburban landscape.

Our mission is ultimately to achieve a basic level of protection to the American suburban public from the Mosquito Control Insecticide fumigations mandatory spraying by showing the chemical is in our blood causing adverse effects. That data will stop the spraying. The administered Mosquito Control insecticides Naled and Temephos are an Organophosphate class of chemical known to be neurotoxins synthesized for chemical warfare than later used for insects.

History

Frog Toxicology Laboratory, LLC has spent 10 years (2012-2022) as a non-profit establishing that the bioindicator (Cuban treefrogs, Cane toads) wildlife are being injured by the Naled and Temephos spray, is in our blood, and is causing adverse effects.

We have published in peer-reviewed Scientific Journals. Google: Sharon Pratt Anzaldua (CEO) and locate the published articles written about our very own suburban SW Florida Hotspot of Cuban Treefrog & Cane Toad abnormality which talks about embryonic, tadpole, adult multi-organ abnormalities.

We suspect these are induced by an Organophosphate insecticide shown in other laboratories to cause abnormalities, but we report a first time exposed naturally occurring populations with abnormalities.

Meanwhile, Dr. Alon Friedman, MD, PhD laboratory collaborator was publishing that the Mosquito Control Insectidal spray was causing brain injury to Canadian diplomats stationed in Havana Cuba “Havana Syndrome” [medRxiv1101/19007096].

The government in Cuba was using Temephos (same as used in Florida) to eradicate the mosquitos inside the diplomats (including the Americans) hotel residencies and why the collaboration between laboratories US & Canada.

Dr. Alon Friedman will perform the same diagnostic tests on us to detect the chemicals in our blood, look for the brain enzyme being inhibited. His laboratory can diagnose brain injury.

Symptoms & Testing

Symptoms

To this day, Naled and Temephos insecticides are being administered by aircraft during all hours of the day to kill mosquitos.

Both humans and animals are exposed to the airborne chemical through dermal and airborne contact.

The symptoms of Naled, Temephos exposure can be any of the following: headache, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, increase in salivation, difficulty breathing, slowed heartbeat, excessive sweating, irritation, rashes, numbness, tremors.

The symptoms depend on the individual and the amount of exposure be it chronic or acute (first time) exposure.

Many of our communities in Florida have been exposed for years (chronic) to the spraying and how the individual body responds to the chemical can differ. If the dogs, cats, frogs, and other wildlife in the neighborhood are demonstrating neuropathy such as leg paralysis, tremors, vomiting after an application, that may be warning to us that we also are being subjected to a dangerous level of chemical. It may be that you have developed a sensitivity to the chemical after being exposed to it for so many years or brain injury.

We do have care to bio-monitor prescription drugs. For example, at your physical each year blood is drawn to determine if the intake of a prescription chemical is doing damage to your body. Naled, likewise, enters your body through inhalation, but there is no test to diagnose its presence to us locals, or if it is doing damage to our bodies, even if we have symptoms of exposure.

Testing

Service Testing Offer:

  1. The detection of exposure to Mosquito Control Insecticides Naled and Temephos Organophosphate brain neurotoxins regularly sprayed in residential landscape. The test is a Mass spectrometry test of submitted blood human and frog blood serum, and/or semen.
  2. The detection of Tilt (fungicide) and Chlorpyrifos (in food). This test detects the chemical in the human and frog blood serum.
  3. The removal of the Invasives Cane toad or Cuban Treefrog in your backyard.
  4. The removal of the Invasive Cane toad or Cuban Treefrog in your backyard for testing for exposure to the same chemicals we offer testing for humans. The amphibian is your personal bioindicator of what you are being exposed to if you do not wish to get tested yourself just yet.
  5. The Human and Frog Serum Acetyl Cholinesterase (AChE) Activity Assay run on submitted blood serum which will be inhibited if you have been exposed to Naled, Temephos sprays. We run blood serum and this test is usually run with the mass spectrometry sample.
  6. Identification of Environmental Neurotoxin Frog Bioassay in suspected landscapes of reported wildlife abnormality. We identify exposure to Tilt, Chlorpyrifos, Naled, Kontrol 30-30, Abate 4E (Temephos) + Agnique MMF (mixture & Individual), Golden Bear 111, Cu. The test chemical that induces the O. septentrionalis (Cuban Treefrog) field abnormality in the control the ecotoxicant.
  7. The presence in the landscape of an endocrine disrupting chemical (EDC). We perform a Florida State-wide Survey for abnormal frogs’ exposure to the Mosquito Control Insecticides.
  8. Human and Frog semen analysis. A morphological analysis of the frog semen.

Frog Toxicology Laboratory study

Frog Toxicology Laboratory study is titled, “Florida Human and Frog Exposure Assessment for Naled and Temephos Mosquito control Insecticides

CEO Sharon E. Anzaldua is a Microbiologist, Veterinary Technologist with years of employment at the Micigan Department of Community Health, Michigan State University.

Dr. Alon Friedman, MD, PhD will be performing the testing on the human submitted blood and semen samples. Dr. Friedman is a Neurosurgeon and faculty at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada.

I will be performing all testing on the animals at the Bonita Springs facility. This study and laboratory is a joint effort between U.S & Canada.
